The Fleeting Days

A church member just brought me a bag of tomatos.  These are the home grown type tomatos, which means they are really good.  The days of these tomatos will soon be gone for another year.  I visited my dad in the hospital this morning.  He is in his mid 90s, and he has been blessed with incredible health and has experienced a good life.  As much as I wish it didn’t have to be so, his days in this life are coming to an end.  Seasons come and go and life quickly passes.  This would be a very depressing thought were it not for the fact that there’s something else after this season and something else after this life.  There is a season to come, and there is a life to come.  Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has entered into the heart of man what God has in store for them that love Him!
