I am told that laughing does something on the inside of a person that is healthy. That comes as no surprise, since the Bible plainly says that a merry heart does good like a medicine. People who reach the age of one hundred, or more, will usually say that one of the things they attribute to their long life is that they don’t take life too seriously. There are some things that must be taken seriously, but not many. I find that I am tempted to take too seriously the things that I shouldn’t, and to take too lightly the things that I should. It is my prayer that I can be a person who can laugh easily and smile constantly.
