A Great Invitation

I could not argue if you said that it was a command instead of an invitation, but it surely is an invitation as well, when the Bible says in 1Peter 5:7, that we are to cast all our cares upon the Lord, because He cares for us.  There is no concern too small, because the Bible tells us that He even numbers the hairs of our head.  There is no concern too large, because He has all power in heaven and earth.  There is not concern too personal, because He dwells within us in the person of the Holy Spirit.  Philippians 4 tells us to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything with prayer and thanksgiving to make your request known to God.”  It adds up to a Loving Lord, who values us far above the sparrows of the air and the lilies of the field, even to the point that He commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
